The richness of SAFRAN rests quietly inside the timid, purple Crocus Flower. A flower that blooms for a few short days. It’s rich red and fragrant stigmata are hidden inside, three per flower. Carefully harvested by hand, they are sun-dried to concentrate their precious, unusual, silken aroma. The richness of this luxurious note is enchanted and sustained. Finally crowned with an Indian Oud, creating a RARE, VERY RARE SAFRAN PERFUME. Safran Rare by Amouroud is a fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Safran Rare was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is Claude Dir. Top notes are freesia, bergamot, incense and geranium; middle notes are cedar, saffron, rose de mai and jasmine; base notes are benzoin, agarwood (oud), vetiver, sandalwood and vanilla.
